With an Associate Degree in UI/UX Design, Kaya has developed a strong eye for detail, thoughtful design, and understanding how people interact with the world around them. She is continuing her education in Computer Technology and Systems Engineering through UBC and BCIT, reflecting her passion for lifelong learning and exploring new ideas.
Kaya speaks English and Spanish and has lived in Mexico for three years, while also travelling extensively throughout North America. These experiences have given her an appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life, and have helped her feel comfortable connecting with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
A creator at heart, Kaya enjoys making art, studying languages, and looking at things from different perspectives. She cares deeply about doing things well, paying attention to the details, and taking the time to understand what truly matters to the people she works with.
